Centerville Youth Lacrosse 2025 50/50 Raffle Rules and Regulations
1. Purpose of the Raffle
The proceeds from this raffle will benefit Centerville Youth Lacrosse (CYL), supporting field rentals, equipment, referee and tournament fees, field paint, and more.
2. Eligibility
- Participants must be at least 18 years old to purchase tickets.
- Tickets may be purchased by anyone in the United States.
- CYL board members and their spouses are not eligible to participate. All players are eligible to win the player prizes.
3. Ticket Sales
- Tickets will be sold from April 13, 2025 through May 18, 2025.
- Tickets can be purchased at designated events, or from a participating CYL player/family member.
- Max tickets to be sold is 1,000.
- The price of each ticket is $5.00, or 5 tickets for $20.00.
- Payment can be made via cash, check, or Venmo.
4. Prize Distribution
- The total amount collected from ticket sales will be split 50/50 between the winner and Centerville Youth Lacrosse.
- The winning amount will be determined based on total ticket sales, with 50% going to the winner and 50% supporting the organization.
- The winning ticket will be drawn the week of May 19, 2025 via live feed on Facebook.
- A $100 gift card of their choice will also be awarded to the player that sells the most tickets, and a $50 gift card of their choice will be awarded to the next 3 top sellers.
5. Drawing Process
- The drawing will be conducted in a fair and random manner.
- Participants do not need to be present to win.
- The winning ticket number will be posted on Facebook and www.cvlax.org, and the winner will be notified via phone or email.
6. Claiming Prizes
- The winner must claim their prize within 60 days of the drawing.
- A valid ID matching the name on the ticket stub, or proof of ticket purchase (original ticket stub) are required to claim the prize.
- Prizes not claimed within 60 days of the drawing will result in 100% of the proceeds benefiting Centerville Youth Lacrosse.
7. Limitations and Disclaimers
- This raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- The winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with the raffle prize. In Ohio, the prize is considered taxable income and may be subject to withholding. The winner will receive a W-2G form if their prize exceeds $600.
- By entering, participants agree to abide by all raffle rules and regulations. The organizer reserves the right to modify or cancel the raffle as necessary.
