Coach & Team Manager Responsibilities

Head Coach:

• Responsible for all on-field technical coaching aspects of assigned team
• Responsible for team-specific communications with the parents of designated team
• Participate in all disputes/conflicts with assigned players/parents
• Participate in Evaluation process
• Responsible for confirming that your team has the accurate # of assigned league games
• Communicate with Officials and Referees during Games
• Run practices/develop practice plans
• Manage assigned roster
• Responsible for assigned team equipment
• Responsible for advance referee fees (paying officials at games, reconcile advance at end of season, etc)
• Responsible for enforcing Club Policies for their team/players/parents(Concussion, Injury, Severe Weather etc) during practices/games etc.
• Attend Southwest Ohio League Chapter Mtgs. and relay information to coaching staff
• Report problems/issues to CVLAX President or Vice President (involving players, parents, coaches, game issues, officials, etc) immediately after incident

Assistant Coach:

• Specific duties are assigned by Head Coach (eg. Offensive/defensive coordinator or individual position coach)
• Participate in Evaluation process
• Assist Head Coach at all practices and games
• Responsible for enforcing Club Policies for their team/players/parents(Concussion, Injury, Severe Weather etc) during practices/games etc.
• Report problems/issues to Head Coach in regards to players/parents for assigned team

Team Manager:

• Responsible for overall general communications to parents/players
• Keep practice & game schedules up to date and send out reminders to team
• Address parent questions/complaints throughout the season
• Responsible for coordinating team participation in any optional tournaments
• Responsible for coordinating any team social events, including an end-of-season party
• Manage Team Snap account
• Track registration paperwork for each player on your team
